West Jakarta to Build 56 Fire Extinguisher Posts

In order to accelerate fire handling and other disaster respond, the West Jakarta Administration began to build 56 fire extinguisher posts in some sub-district areas, West Jakarta.

But Pardjoko admitted, his sub-department has difficulties due to lack of empty land. Nevertheless, he was able to outsmart it by placing a container and a small-sized car in each urban village until the post built.

Besides that, he furthered, next year, he would be focused on the Environment Fire Security Systems (SKKL) in Cengkareng and Kalideres Sub-Districts. This is because, they have the highest fire case in West Jakarta.

Kemanggisan Urban Village Head, Tri Prasetyo explained his side has proposed the proper location for post construction on Jalan Anggrek Rosliana which is adjacent to the headman's home office.

"Urban village side was asked to find empty land and fire side to provide any equipment, including its operational car," he explained.
